RAM:  DDR3 24GB

MOBO: Asus Gryphon z87

I just built a new rig but i am still a bit new asus and its mobo bios setup. There is a lot of information there and i am a bit overwhelmed by it compared to OC my old biostar board. Anyhow any suggestions given my specs on what would be OC setting profile i should create? Any help would be much appreciated! TY

The 4570 doesn't overclock that much. You can only overclock it to 4 steps above the turbo boost. Also is your board a Z78 chipset? Other chipsets don't support overclocking

The original post clearly states he has a z87 Gryphon.

The 4570 is awkward though--I think he means 4670.

This might help:

Just try pushing to 4 ghz and seeing how low of a voltage it's stable at. You do have adequate aftermarket cooling yes?

This is why I shouldn't write OC tips early in the morning.

Since it's a non-K cpu, you probably won't be able to overclock it that much, maybe a slight increase of the Base Clock, but that's about it. Besides, why the heck a 650ti, but 24GB of RAM?
