Planning to upgrade from my 2009 Core 2 Duo E4500. Of course this isn't any crazy compensator build, but better than what I have.

Any Recommendations? Changes?

An i3-4160 is better than an FX 6300

Also, don't recommend FX products, they have limited upgradeability and most intel processors nowadays are far better than them

I know but they are budget

Also where I live, Canada the FX 6300 is $70 cheaper than the 4160

This PC does use around 450 watts according to newegg. Maybe adding some more watts wont be a bad that.

If you can afford the extra 20 bucks you should maybe get a GTX960. The 950 is too expensive for its performance right now. I'd either wait until the price drops or take the 960 right away.

Thanks! Im not planning to buy these parts for the next months, (I'm saving up my pennies!) So I might stick with the 950 if the price goes down, if not ill look at the 960.
