Xonar D2 Issues

Currently have a X-FI Titanium Fatil1ty Pro sound card,with a Little Dot 1+ Headphone Amp & DT770 Pro 80ohm Headphones.

 

Im not disappointed with this sound setup,Its good..however having previously owned a Xonar D1 back in another system that i was really impressed with,I found a Xonar D2 for sale second hand and thought id get it and see if its better than my current X-FI card as im always trying to get the best out of my equipment without breaking the bank.

 

Well so far ive been unimpressed with the D2,It seems to lack bass..i have to turn my Headphone amp volume up more than usual to get around the same level as my current card..and there seems to be a HUGE amount of buzzing when i go on Teamspeak with my friends using the Xonar D2..so much infact one mate muted me lol.

 

Whats causing this do you think?

 

And in your opinion which card should be better spec wise?..Added poll.

I don't know. It's not like we have any information to go on here. It's obviously interference of some sort, maybe even a defective card.
