I have a gtx980ti and an i7-4790k with 16gb of ram. In games like csgo running with a 1440p monitor I was getting 227 fps then I played coh2 and now all of a sudden I'm getting 20 fps and comp is running slow I uninstalled the game and ran virus just in case got nothing if it's needed info I did this all via steam any help would be appreciated I'm freaking out given the fact that it's worked fine for about 2 months and all of sudden not working for a 2600$ computer

Are those the only two games that mispreform.

check your device manager to see if your gpu is recognized corectly

i had the same problem with my laptop when windows update thought that the nvidia driver from geforce experience wasn't good enough so it downloaded another driver which whas obviously bad so it deactivated my gpu

Question is what are the graphic settings of CoH2? Apart from CS:GO settings normally get turned down really low to get the best performance out of it, you shouldn't compare the two Fps-wise.

It's the fps inside csgo that's the issue coh2 and csgo are obviously two different games but I was getting 227 fps before hand on csgo now afterwards getting 20fps on csgo

go into device manager and double click display adapters. if it only appears your gpu maker and model with nothing next to it then it's fine

but for me it appeared a yellow triangle and after a restart a down pointed arrow in a circle, saying that the device was disabled by windows

as you see, the integrated graphics worked normally but the dedicated gpu had some problems

Even on 800x600? What driver version are you currently running, 355.80?

Hey i'm sorry to hear of your troubles, maybe you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for your GTX980TI

Control Panel > search uninstall > select uninstall program > find NVidia drivers > select them click uninstall > go to NVidia site and reinstall drivers

See if this works and if not tell me and il try and think of something ells

try to update your drivers or if you know what version of gpu drivers you had when everything worked fine, try to download and install that

It was a 2 hour difference between games no driver updates and it didn't change during that time
