Torrent client

Nem

Does anyone know of a torrent client for linux that has the following:

1) multiple watch folders, multiple download folders (important)

2) proxy support

3) some sort of web interface so it can be controlled from another machine

I have been using deluge for a while, and that fits the bill in terms of the features above, but it crashes all the time and I just don't want to deal with it anymore. Any recommendations for alternatives?

qBittorent

Just updated my original post. Along with multiple watch folders, I need to be able to download to multiple different download folders, and I don't believe qBittorrent allows for that?

I don't think a torrent client exists like that. Why don't you use chrome remote desktop to get into your PC to organise and download etc?

It's completely blown out of proportion. Also if you're the least bit worried about data gathering then you should go live in a cave a 1000Km from the nearest establishment simply because every device and every entity gathers information these days. In the current era privacy is just fallacy and nothing more.

Edit: Oh my, I've been reading your first post wrong and didn't see that you're already using Deluge, my bad!

Transmission should suit your needs, there are Windows builds here.

Does transmission allow for multiple watch and download directories?

I though it did, but after fiddling around it seems it doesn't support it. Sorry, I'll look around. What were your problems with Deluge?

I run the client on a raspberry pi, and for some reason deluge crashes at random times, sometimes it happens every few minutes, other times every few days. I've seen a number of reports of similar problems and proposed "fixes" but it's all just too much hassle and I'd rather find an alternative

rtorrent with the rutorrent web interface. takes a while to set it up, but it's the most lightweight and flexible torrent client available for any os.

here is a guide on multiple watch folders: http://keycorner.org/pub/text/doc/RTorrentCommonTasks.html#Movecompletedtorrentstodifferentdirectorydependingonwatchdirectory

I do not recommend using proxies for torrents with any client. Due to how proxies work, you won't be able to listen for incoming connections (as if you had a "NAT Problem" ), may experience subpar download speeds and they don't hide your IP anyway. Use a VPN instead.

Linux expert.
