please help!!!!

Go to solution Solved by helping,

throw it in the oven for a while

Well you're dealing with a 5 year old GPU, so it very well may simply be dying. All you can really try is reinstall drivers, check your temperatures and clean the cooler. It probably won't do much though.

What he^ said.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

Are you serious that baking your GPU in an oven fixed it...?

This is brilliant! Oh computers, how you so random and awesome!

Edit: Got here from another post, sorry for 'bumping' an old-ish thread.

Do you think throwing it in the oven will revive it *again* ?

it might, baking hardware will usually revive it for a short amount of time, doing it continuously won't help, it's more of a temporary fix.

i mean it worked last time

but it died again* now after a year i think

Do you think i should try it again? and i am never going to fold again with this GPU

You can always try, but it's less effective every time you do it.

Of course loose soldier points might not be causing the problem this time.
