I have a steam friend who is having major problems running the game and we have similar setups, he as an i5 4460, a GTX 960, and 8GB of memory. On the other hand I have a G3258, a GTX 960, and 8GB of memory. He says he gets about 20 FPS with everything on low and with screen resolution at .60 (1366x768) whereas I get 80 FPS, maxed out at 1080p with 1.0 screen resolution. I don't have much of a clue as to what's causing this so I decided to show him this website and post a topic in hopes of helping him to be able to enjoy the beta.

Thanks! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Maybe it's something to do with drivers, overheating and so on.

One thing though:

When he goes into a game, tell him to go into task manager, right click on Black Ops 3, go to details (or whatever it's called), right click on that and set the priority to normal. I've seen BO3 beta set it to low for no reason.

happy @NeatSquidYT ?

I helped

It's a pretty CPU heavy game for what I've seen so far playing it, but his i5 should have no issues with it. I wouldn't be suprised if your Pentium did but the i5 no way.

Tell him to reinstall the game, if the issue persists, maybe reinstalling the drivers would help?
