Is this ram compatible

Go to solution Solved by soaringchicken,

How do i do that

you just set it in the bios, there'll be a section called 'memory' and you just have to turn XMP on, and change frequency to 1600mhz, it'll be pretty simple when you get in.

Is this ram compatible http://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233538 with my motherboard http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4954#ov

I've done my research but would like confirmation from a more knowledgeable person so i don't go buying something that wont work

Thanks in advance

Yes, DDR3 goes in DDR3 slots, the only thing that might not work is the frequency, cause I don't know what that board supports, so you might have to tone it down a little.
