Did you try restarting the PC and checked if the problem is still there?

Try killing and restarting explorer.exe. May not work with the default Task Manager, in which case you can try with Process Explorer. Can't try it right now as I'm at work on a non-Windows machine.

  1. Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator
    1. Right click Start button
    2. Choose Command prompt (Admin)
    3. Key in Powershell in the black window and hit Enter

  2. Paste the following command in the Administrator Windows PowerShell window and press Enter: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  3. Wait for PowerShell to execute and complete the command. Ignore the few errors (in red color) that may pop up.
  4. When it finishes, try hitting Start and hopefully it’ll start working

Should i restart the computer after it or should i just click on the Start menu after?

I had the same issue. I had to reinstall.

It is a services issue... I know it sucks, but it is the best option. If you don't want to do that, you can do a refresh.

Google: widows 10 refresh

That is a more smooth option.
