I am trying to build a Editing/Gaming computer with a total budget of $1800. This includes a Monitor,Computer,Windows, and a mouse.

Power:

1.Run High Quality games

2.Run Blender and Render perfectly

3.Run Unity and Unreal perfectly

4.Be Portable

Questions

1.Should i have two monitors?

2.Do i need a sound card and what type?

Crossfire ready. Remove the case fan and funnel that comes with the case and install the noctua case fans.

The system is small, quiet, and portable with the sturdy handle. 

 

2 displays are recommended for productivity in general.

You don't need a dedicated sound card but one is recommended if you have high impedance headphones.

As I'm sure you know, Unreal and Blender (depending on what you're doing) are not very intensive applications so they don't require you to have the best computer in the world. Hyper Threading is something that could come in very handy in this situation. So taking into account your budget and purpose of this build I'd say a system based on Ivy Bridge/ Haswell (3770k/ 4770k)  would do. SB-E is a little out of reach with that budget.
