Sorry. Had to make another new topic.

If you don't have time or don't want to help, you are at the wrong topic then.

So. As you may or may not know. I want to buy new headphones. I have been looking for a perfect pair over 3 months now and still no perfect pair found.

I have been looking for these: (beware, the list will be long...)

Over-ear:

AKG K550

AKG K167 Tiësto

Audio Technica ATH-M50x

Beyerdynamic DT660

Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 32 ohm

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro Plus

Sony mdr-1a

On-ear:

AKG K67 tiësto

Sennheiser Momentum On-ear

Sony mdr-v55

Sennheiser HD 25 Basic Edition

In-ear:

Shure SE215

Sennheiser Momentum In-ear

Sennheiser IE60

And then the requirements:(Beware, these will be strict.)

Durability: Will last at least two years.

Sound quality: Good and accurate. Perfect bass.

Looks: Beautiful. Not feeling awkward with them outside.

Comfort: You will forget you are using them. I want to be able to listen 3 hours straight.

Noise isolation and Sound leakage: You can go to airplane and being able to hear the music without raising the volume too much. Minimal sound leakage if possible.

Where I would use them for?:

Everything. Casual listening from my phone and laptop, gym, travel, walking to school, gaming about once a month, movies, internet radio and slight audio monitoring.

I basically listen to every musical genre except jazz, classical and opera.

Any audiophiles, casual listeners and fashion experts tell me your opinion. And also you have to pick one. Which one of those headphones from the massive list would you pick that fits every requirement

I want to thank everybody that replies to this and everyone who reads this. I spent 2 hours on this. I would really like to finally find my perfect headphones. I don't have an opportunity to listen or try any headphones so I have to trust peoples reviews...

King of Off Topic.

Custom One Pro Plus gets my vote, though.

Formerly known as TumbleButt (I won't send dick pics now, I'll just send lemons instead (rotting lemons from now on). Recommend the M50X, I'll send you a rotting lemon... because thats what you are, a rotting lemon...)

Also, what the hell does "perfect bass" even mean? For me, perfect bass is pretty much what the he-500 offers. Other people might enjoy incredibly loud, overdone bass. I like flat headphones, not bassy, and I also don't like headphones with poor bass extension. So what kind of bass are you looking for?

An engineering impossibility is what it means.

The reason you have found nothing is that you are asking for a literally perfect set of headphones, which does NOT exist.

I think I already knew that... But I don't want to waste my money to sh!t so that's why I'm looking for"perfect" pair.

One piece of advice:

Stay away from the M50/M50X.

With perfect bass I mean accurate, not ruining other instruments, Not boomy... That's my perfect bass.

Also, there are what, like fifteen headphones in that list? That's not that many... @op, the Beyer headphones will be best for general use, unless you like the ultra low profile form factor that the shures give you (although you'll annoy people that try to talk to you, since they won't see them) but the shures will be much better for flights.

So do you think the M50x and custom one pros are good? I think they look a bit ugly and bulky...

Custom one pros are, not m50x

Is there as good looking headphones as K167 tiësto? I like the design but I'm worried about the build quality. I saw your posts but every headphone that you chose were so ugly...

Just increase your budget if you want to be close to "perfect" or something.

If you're so concerned about looks, why not just buy whatever looks good to you? Otherwise you can up your budget and custom design some CIEMs. That way you know you'll be happy.

Sometimes i don't get the point of looks when someone wants a pair of headphones that look good. Its not like they always have a mirror or have a hyper reflective monitor/TV infront of them... if the Abyss' looks were to be concerned... it looks like a hanger. At an angle, it looks like one of the crinkles of my ass.

Back on-topic, yeah... @Merc. better off that you increase your budget if you're obsessed with looks and still have the audio traits you are looking for.

To be fair, the abyss aren't even a very good pair of headphones in the first place [emoji14]

I shall now call the Abyss as the Ass Crinkle.
