SO, i was an idiot and didnt do much research on motherboards when i first built my computer, i am new to this.

I can admit i should of did more cause now i am in a silly situation,

I bought the MSI xpower2 and have had nothing but problems with it, specially in the bios and during setup, needless to say

i am fed up with it, and having a hard time finding any sort of solutions online or with msi, so i want something new.

So i am looking at a couple boards to replace it, and open to other ones then what i list.

Looking at the:

1: Sabertooth x79

2: Asus Rampage extreme IV

3: Gigabyte X79 UD-7

My main requirement or preferences for other suggestions are:

A nice bios (easy for the newb overclocker such as myself)

Prefer to have a fair amount of pcie slots ( like to have options for expasnion)

obvs LGA 2011

4-8 ( preferably as i said like the option for more dimm slots)

and prefer to have a black as possible motherboard ( not the hugest fan of red)

My processor is a i7 3930k

and i have 2 gtx 780s

and i have 32gb of corsair dom platinum

also have future plans to watercool if that plays a factor

sorry for the newb question, and appreciate any help i am new to this  and kinda got in over my head with trying to learn it all at once, but i can admit my mistake haha

i7 3930k @ 4.4ghz // EVGA Nvidia GTX 780s in SLI // Corsair h110 cooler

Switch 810 // 32gb Corsair Dominator Platinum (1600mhz) // MSI Xpower 2 (replacing soon)

Samsung 840 Pro 128GB For Boot // Seagate Barracuda 2TB

I have the RIVE, but since you're not the biggest fan of red, the Gigabyte X79-UP4 should suit your needs.

what is the problem you're having? aside from being a newbie at overclocking?

I'd be perfectly satisfied with the motherboard you chose, it's one of the best.

its lots of little problems adding up with it tbh, and mainly the customer service experience i had with them when trying to troubleshoot, they were very rude to me. The current problems i am having now are random power loss, with no error code, my bios is incredibly  finicky ( have cleared and flashed the bios by myself and with msi) i think i just got a bad mobo, and after how i was treated by them i dont want another msi product, i work in customer care, and how i am treated makes a huge impact on loyalty to a brand, i tested a friends rampage board ( he was in the middle of ordering parts to wc his rig so it was all apart)  to prove it out and after  about 72 hours of testing no problems. ive had asus products in the past  never had issues tried this board when i built my new rig cause of the color scheme and reviews all looked good,  i think ill be stick to ASUS in the future.

So, that being said any suggestions on these boards?

P9X79 PRO

P9X79-E WS

Rampage IV extreme ( know this ones good but colors are not preferable)
