Printer Recommendations? (Laser)

Sorry if this is not the spot to put this topic, if it belongs somewhere else please feel free to move it. So... I need a new printer because my old one I just spent about 4 hours on to just install a driver... Why couldn't I just hook it up with USB and go like Windows said I could? I don't know, there was some sort of driver issue and I had to use the bloatware installation CD. There was so much fucking bloatware that came with this damn I nearly smashed my laptop. So... can someone please recommend me a good laser printer? honestly the only thing I use a printer for now days is just text and resumes.

Did you try going on their website; finding Driver only - Unzipping and installing with device manager...

Color to be safe, I did some snooping but it was ridiculous trying to navigate the site so I had to use the disc. I really just need something that I can use that just plugs in and windows can recognize easily that it's a printer

It sounds like you just need someone with patience to install it for you.

A custom options install off the disk should allow you to uncheck all the bloat ware as well and only install the driver/utilities you want and need
