Broke my damn nexus 7 for the third time, time to upgrade?

I own the nexus 7 2013. The screen has obtained another crack and I am tired of replacing screens. Has anyone owned the ASUS MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C)? What does it have in terms of rootability and performance? Can I still run a modded everything on an atom processor? The expandable storage is a huge feature for me. What would it be missing compared to the nexus 7? Otg, wireless charging, nfc...

those are phones. I want a seperate phone and tablet. The price difference is massive. My nexus 5 has a broken screen as well (i didnt break either of these) but the phone still works. That and I hate scamscum.

About the same. Both were under powered for me.

As with any non nexus device these days, the asus memopad thing looks to have shit rootability and mod support. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think I am going to buy ANOTHER nexus 7...
