Looking for new laptop

Go to solution Solved by Peepnbrick,

When looking for a laptop, I always prioritize battery life, since nothing else functions if it's dead. If you get the macbook, you can pretty much gaurentee that the battery will be sufficient, since Apple has really mastered the art of battery life. But that's pretty much the only thing the Macbook has going for it.

The Macbook is nowhere near the performance of the other two laptops, since it uses integrated graphics. Plus, if you don't already own a Mac, the switch to OS X will be harder.

The Acer one seems like the best bang for the buck. If you want the best you can get, get the ASUS. If you want to save a little money, but the Acer.

I am looking for a new laptop and cannot decide between the MacBook Pro 13" 2015, the Acer aspire v15 nitro black edition or the Asus rog G501.

All of them have their own strong points: MacBook-battery, Acer-affordability and Asus-battery and affordability

I was hoping someone would help me decide and would also like to ask what the battery life of the Acer is if you have one.

Thank you in advance

need to know your use and budget.  Are you gaming?  other computationally heavy work such as video editing or modelling etc? Or are you just doing light office work and internet surfing? how important is portability?

Probably the Asus but I have no idea what your pricing is.
