Win10 Update frozen?

Go to solution Solved by Guest Philosophy,

Got into bios after a few restarts. Now what?

I was making sure all the hardware was working. If it boots into bios, it should boot into windows installation. Make sure setting are at default and that the hardware is shown correctly. Then try booting into windows instillation again.

So I put Win10 on a USB to update one drive and not the others so I could gradually move things I need over.

Well, the computer restarted itself (I know this part is SOMETIMES normal for windows installs) and now its stuck on the screen for the MOBO that usually tells you what to do, but its not saying anything. Has been stuck there for about 5 mins now. Any ideas on if this is normal or if somethings wrong?

But its stuck at the MOBO screen.... Shouldn't it be at the screen that tells you what it's doing?

Wait a few minuets, then restart your PC and try the installation again. make sure you dont do ANYTHING while it updates the OS

I wasn't doing anything with it. I've been waiting about 15 mins now I think.

Try to boot into the bios, then report back.

All looks normal. Restarting the install (it had 10gb done for the last install apparently)
