A decent PC Desk

Go to solution Solved by Aerodash,

Please, please, please check out your local second hand stores or equivalent websites before looking for new furniture. You can find pieces that are half the price for no degrade of quality. This corner table cost about $150 NZD ($130ish USD) 2nd hand, hundreds cheaper than anything else I was looking at.

I wasn't sure if it's a peripherial or whatever, but I hope it fits.

Generaly, I've got so hyped after I saw the updesk in one video out of 'Moving day' series and I was like 'oooooh, I gotta get that'.... but then I saw the price and costs of shipping it to europe.

So, after that, I've decided to browse through local furniture stores and all I found were some crappy, child-sized, made out of crappy materials desks that were simply terrible.

...but I digress - I'm looking for some desk that I could buy online and get it shipped to me from europe or from other continents as long as the price isn't too high.

-budget is: 600-800$ but the less I spend the better.

-I like glass desks, not a requirement

-the less shelves the better - simplicity is the key

-wide, I have 3 monitors, 24' each and I could use some more space so my PC doesn't sit on the ground (thus gathering more dust)

-preferably no keyboard shelf

-long enough, I like having distance from the screens

Thanks in advance! I am really looking forward to what you guys come up with!

Honestly building a desk with $800 isn't hard. Get a solid piece of oak or a good size butcher block counter top. You can buy some legs or make a small frame. It takes no skills :)
