when you download folding at home are you supposed to use the chrome extension

is the folding at home app which i downloaded supposed to run in chrome?

There's a desktop application, which does not run in Chrome and there's a Chrome app, which you download from the Chrome app store, which is (of course) supposed to run in Chrome. The main difference is that the Chrome app will only use your CPU while the desktop app can also use your GPU.

There's a chrome app for it but it only uses CPU power. I personally don't think it's worth folding on the chrome app.
