Res filling help ........

hey guys i have a problem when i fill the loop.

 

 

the top part of my res is acting as a port so theirs no way for me to fill the loop UNLESS i fill it when its on so should i o that or any advise it would really help

If you're using the top of the res as a port for the loop, you're going to want a top that has multiple ports, or a Y fitting so you can fill from the free port.

There is only one port on the top of your reservoir right? If so, then that port was intended for filling the reservoir, while the ports on the bottom are for inlets/outlets. Personally I would relocate your return line to the bottom of your reservoir and fill it with the top port.

Looks like an EK res, ideally a top like this with an inner tube should be used if your having the fluid flow back through the top, also for filling the reservoir if you have a large syringe it makes things a lot easier.

what water block by ek is that it looks like the one i am using but really couldn't tell in the video, if it is, having the ports backwards seems to really restrict the flow(from experience). the port closest to the middle (farthest away from the ek logo) is the in-port
