Fan Controller Options

Hello, 

 

I recently purchased four noctua PWM fans to replace the stocks ones that came with my case. Looking for heredity a 5.25" driver bay controller with a basic front control so that it won't stand out in my office or an internal hardware controller. 

 

PS I know i probably could run them threw my motherboard but would like to avoid it unless it is a clear cut winner.

Any reason why you would want a fan controller instead of running the fans off of the motherboard?
