Why do i keep getting "Invalid URL" Errors?

terrytek

I am really, really, really pissed. Sometimes, out of the middle of nowhere, when i try to play Roblox and try to redirect to another page, it says, "Invalid URL." It's not just Roblox, but also Google and even LTT sometimes. Please reply because I am soo frustrated that this keeps showing up. Sometimes it won't go away for even 45 minutes. I am so angry this keeps happening. Could it be my internet, my computer, or something worse?? >:O

Check your firewall and make sure that you haven't set anything to paranoid mode that will cause it to produce false threats sometimes. Possible to provide screen shot of error?

FYI, i can't get a screenshot right now as it hasn't appeared, yet. But i'll get one as soon as it shows up again.

Delete browser history and cookies (alternatively try a different browser).

It might also be your DNS. Try changing it to something like 8.8.8.8 or some other trusted DNS.

  • 2 weeks later...

This error does not look like a standard chrome error. This could be server sided.
