Hi All,

I have moved my office down the opposite end of the house to my internet router.

I am keeping my gaming pc on a cat 6 Ethernet cable to the other end of the house.

However I have other devices that I use on Wifi that I need to use at the other end of the house. Is there any Wifi extender that instead of receiving Wifi and sending wifi, can recieve ethernet cable and output wifi on the other end of the house.

To better understand what I am mumbling on about, look at the picture I have attached.

Thanks,

1hypercube1

There is a TP Link Router that you can use as an "Extender". http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WR710N-Wireless-Repeater-Charging/dp/B00FRMAOIO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1440158587&sr=8-1&keywords=TP-Link+TL-WR710N+Wireless

The only problem is I live in Australia and of course they don't have it here :| If I were to buy is from amazon I'd have to get a $50 voltage converter since Australia runs on 240V.

Is there a cheaper alternitave?

Most normal Wi-Fi repeater with ethernet should have the option to connect to the router via ethernet and spanning their own Wi-Fi

Im using a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 300E (its from a german company) and its connected via ethernet to the router.

I've already seen models from ASUS, that support this too, just look through the specification of the Wi-Fi repeater models with ethernet.
