URGENT! Computer Randomly Shutting Down!

Help! I just finished moving my computer to a new case and rebuilding it and it's not working right. I was getting some error messages on my motherboard debug code (99, A6, Ab) and then they stopped eventually after some tinkering with the SATA and PCI devices. But now, before I even reach windows in my boot, it suddenly just shuts down altogether. I've tried everything and have no clue what to do, but I need this fixed by morning.

ASRock 990FX Extreme9

AMD FX-8350

Corsair H100i GTX

GeForce GTX 960

1TB WD HDD

40GB WD HDD

CX600W PSU

PCI-e Wireless Network Card

do a very basic external build of it

and try all the standard diaganotic stuff

I've already done all of this. It keeps randomly shutting down right as I'm about to finish the boot. I don't even have time to access the BIOS.

Basic diagnostic. Checked cables, PCI connections, and even barely had time in the BIOS once to set the boot mode to IDE.

Remove the Battery CMOS  or short the CMOS.

could of been damages when it was removed from the old case

check your PSU connections

 

otherwise grab a spare PSU

have you done the external build tho with the basics

Could something be shorting out?

Well I just tried it again. Still didn't work but it did for a long time. I heard something gradually getting louder and louder like a fan so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I still can't get it to stay on for long though.

I think it may be having to do with my CPU. I also switched out the cooler when I switched the case with an AIO liquid cooling system. It may not be working right. I also checked all my PSU cords and all are thoroughly plugged in with no strain.

A6 would indicate SATA problem

Why are you using a Corsair CX600 in that type of build?

Yes I've unplugged and replugged all SATA pieces, as well as the PCI-e parts. I fixed that and now I don't get any debug codes. Its blank (which means good) but it still ends up shutting down 10-15 seconds after launching.

Try resitting the RAM and CPU if you haven't already

My best guess is that when you cased your system you shorted your mobo and damaged it with one of the case pins. Do you have the capability to test a new mobo? You can always return it.

I don't have time. I need this up and running before 2pm today (CDT). I'm using the case's built in standoffs.

Alright, disconnect every storage device except your boot device. Reset your CMOS. And try to get into Windows. If you can, it's BIOS settings.

 

If you can't, you have to order a new mobo.

Well it got up to the windows login screen and then shut down. I don't know what that means.

Oh wait forgot to clear the CMOS. Trying it again with it cleared.

Is your CPU getting hot to the touch?

 

Can you go into BIOS and just hang there for a while and look at temps?
