So recently my old LG tv that I was using as a monitor died on me so now I am stuck using my 10x10 inch dell monitor and I am looking for a new monitor. I have looked on amazon and also newegg but all I find is bullshit like a $150 monitor without even a HDMI port, so I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good one. My MUST HAVES are a HDMI port and 1080P resolution.

Use display port unless your GPU doesn't support it. Also any IPS 1080p monitor will do.

Hope that helped.

Also, use whatever you want. DVI is just fine. HDMI is not necessary or any better than others, and actually, it's quality depends on its wire. DVI is overall the same no matter what. I have no experience with DP.

Here is a good moniter that pretty much the best thing I can find.Specially seeing your current PC gear.
It is 144hz and one of each input. I tried this moniter when I was at PAX EAST this year and it was not that bad.

Also The Asus vg248qe on AMAZON USA is under 200ish if you bought it USED

Good luck
