3D Mark not working

I bought 3D mark off of steam a few months ago and worked fine for a few months, after I downloaded PC Mark 8 it just stopped working??
I'm not sure if the two things are related at all, but I feel like it might be.
As soon as I downloaded PC Mark I started getting "system Info failure" "failed to set up system info" and it happened on both?
I've been trying for about two months to fix it, and I really don't know what else to try?
I uninstaledl pc mark, and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3d mark multiple times, have tried installing system info assistant from their website with no luck?
I've seen on google this has happened to other people, but haven't found a solid answer why its  happening?
If someone coulds give me some pointers I'd really appreciate it

Try disabling your virus protection while running it. 3DMark has had problems in past with Avast active protection.

So... It just started working out of nowhere??
I hit open to so I can copy the error code, and it's worked ever since.
Weird?
