I've decided to get a new case and what I would like is

- Good cable management

- Removable dust filters for easier cleaning

-Radiator support for future watercooling (maybe)

- A window

I'm looking at the Define R4 and the Arc Midi R2. Does the Arc Midi have better radiator options? If they had the same radiator support I'd be leaning toward the R4 as I like its looks better.

Are there any other cases I should look at? I really like the more simplistic design of the R4 so anything similar to that could be good as well. I'm also not a fan of plasticy cases so all metal cases or at least mostly metal cases are good too.

Thanks for the help. :)

Edit : I want to spent no more than $150 but would prefer to spend around $100 or under.

CM Storm Scout 2.

I don't like how it looks but maybe I'll get used to it. I've gotten tired of the Storm Scout 1 already. :P

Arc Midi R2 has better rad options than the R4, yeah, but it only really comes into play if you're doing a custom loop.

Bump for the CM Storm Scout 2 also!

I will be doing a custom loop in the future. So you would suggest the Arc Midi?

Expensive...

Haha, was it worth it? Did you have to mod the case for it? Also I'd love to see pictures of it. :)

Not really mod as in drill holes or anything but had to find a place to mount my hard drive cause you have to get rid of all the cages to make room for a pump and res and the radiator in the front and ran into a radiator mount issue in the front that i can't really explain but i'll send pics and you'll see what i mean.

That's true but I'm not very good with tools and I'm quite prone to mistakes haha. I also don't want to void the warranty so modding it would be trouble.

@Hirad123 : Alright. :) Where did you put your hard drive though?

@prolemur : Can't get mini itx because I have my components already. I have an ATX motherboard.

left it in the tray. Slapped a ton of velcro on the bottom of the tray and stuck it in the optical drive bay lol. It isn't getting much airflow up there that's the main issue :P saving up for a 500gb ssd to get rid of that thing

Sounds funny now that I think about it haha. There might be defects on it that I don't notice until after I mod it.

Chances are, I'll make a mistake. Drilling holes in metal was never my forte (metalworking in school was terrible for me).

@Hirad123 : Ahh I see haha. Well HDDs don't need much airflow and I'm guessing you're not going to get much airflow there in the first place. I'd keep the hard drive still. :P

@Importedham : Out of my budget. :( Looks good though.

@Sea Aych : Alright thanks. It seems the general consensus is Arc Midi R2, perhaps the looks will grow on me.

I'm still open for other suggestions.

@Hirad123 : The EVO drives are supposed to replace the 840s so I'm assuming they'll be affordable.

Another question, if I were to get the R4, what modifications to the case would I need to do to fit in say a 280mm radiator or a 240mm (both thick I guess) in the top and front?

What about the CoolerMaster 690 II Advanced? The windowed version looks pretty nice and there's top and bottom radiator mounts.

Too much mesh at the front, don't really like how it looks. Good suggestion though. :P

The C70 isn't a bad choice for your case imo. Its pretty solidly built and has removable filters. Seen people watercool their build with this case.
