  1. So i was doing some rearranging of my setup, got everything setup right, never bumped my monitor that i know of. (i baby it.) But i do remember when i plugged my desktop into the same power strip as the monitor was plugged into, it sparked. This has happened before, so now i flick the power button on my power supply just to be safe. So fast forward to me booting my rig up, only my second monitor turned on. Okay, check all the cords unplug everything multiple times and try all the things people were suggesting on my google search. (hold power for 10 seconds etc...) What have i done? Did i fry it, and if so is there anyway to fix it with new capacitors etc? Thanks, i'm really bummed out, only had it for a year or so and not in a position to buy another.

  3. My friend has an Antec ISK 600 Mini itx case. He is looking at the windforce 280x but does not think it will fit in the case. Will it?
  4. Okay, so my friend is not well off. And only gets so much money at a time, so he has been saving money for over a year now so i could scrounge something together for him to play league of legends at 60 fps. Thats right, all he wants is 60fps and high settings in league of legends haha. But anyway, he has already purchased an i3 2120 and a gigabyte motherboard off of me for 70 bucks. We are also using some shit Dell case. So we need. PSU GPU HDD RAM the budget is 250. We are not against used parts, but would prefer as new as possible.
  5. I will definitely take that into consideration.
  6. I have been told the 8350 out performs the i5 by a bit in some games, and is 50 bucks cheaper. So i don't know ...
  7. I am going to be upgrading my computer this christmas. Current Build i3 2120 GTX 550 TI A Cheap Gigabyte MOBO 2x4 Corsair Something decent. 1tb WD Blue 500w PowerColor CoolerMaster 300 Case Hyper 212+ I plan on re-using everything i can, because i'm on a $400 budget. The Parts i'm currently looking at. AMD Fx 8350 Gigabyte 78LMT-usb3 mobo Kingston V300 120gb SSD. For new boot drive and a couple games. I'm going for a bang for my buck kind of build, that's why i went amd. I know my graphics card is out dated, but it's going to have to wait, i figured a new cpu was the smartest upgrade right now. Does this look like a good upgrade to you guys? I mainly play games, minor video editing and surf the web.
  8. I found him through ncix videos, when i was building my first system he had a review on the website of the parts i was buying.
  9. Currently looking into getting a new mechanical keyboard for gaming. My budget is around 50-80, all the mechanic keyboards i see are 120+ so im wondering if there is some small company out there that makes decent quality keyboards. The switches don't really matter, as long as their good quality. Would prefer 10 keyless and compact. Thanks
  10. I have been playing allot of Arma 3 lately and would like to know?
  11. That would smash any console emulator except next gen obviously
  12. I have almost no fraying on my steelseries and its a year old....
