Fix it or Mod it?

I recently got my hands on an old eMac that doesnt boot and my question is as follows. Do you think I should mod it into a portal themed eHackintosh or try fix it up and just have fun with an old piece of computing history?

It looks like this for those who dont know.

Also for you Morrowind fans out there.....Anybody? No? Just me? ok......

dayum youngins...

I am in the process of ordering the laser cut acrylic case for an upcoming Morrowind themed keyboard build guide. This one will be detailed including software you need to make a case, firmware options, hardware options ect. Might even throw in a guide on pcb making if anyone is interested

Everything will be laser cut this time so no crooked keys....

I would mod it, the eMac was nothing special in it's day (was a cheap iMac for education) and what you're doing will probably improve the looks and obviously the usability. You're going to need a 4:3 monitor like a 1280x960 monitor, and I think it has to be 16" or 17" diagonal.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 500GB Crucial P3 Plus, 4TB Silicon Power UD90 | GPU: AsRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Steel Legend | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Corsair SF850

Main Server: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | RAM: 64GB (2x32GB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 | Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair VII Hero WiFi | Storage: 512GB SKHynix NVMe | GPUs: NVIDIA TITAN Xp 2-way SLI | Cooling: Thermalright Frozen Prism 360mm | Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (White) | PSU: Seasonic Focus GM850

but it can you modify the vga connector inside of of to a regular vga. I have opened one before, and it's a different cable from the display to the MoBo, it's a ribbon cable.

yea I forgot, just put another display like @thekeemo said. Because the display takes up over 50% of the space in the inside.
