NVIDIA Driver keeps downgrading to 353.82

So i have a GTX 970, and the current driver is 355.60 (i use geforce experience to update my GPU driver)

 

I have installed the new driver 2 times.... once with custom, once with express...and a day or 2... or reset or 2 later (don't remember which) 

it will go back to 353.82

 

if there isn't a fix for this..or anyone else having this program...i can just wait for the update past 355.60 and hope it will stay at that

Make sure you're checking the box where is says you want to participate in the driver beta.

If you're on Windows 10, use DDU to remove all drivers. It will make it so that Windows 10 does not mess with Geforce drivers. Then, just reinstall from the Nvidia website. This should solve it.

Windows 10 still attempts to touch the drivers. At least in my experience.

not using windows 10, updated to 10, messed up pc...reset pc....back to 8.1

Try updating them directly using NVIDIA's installer. Not GeForce Experience.

if a whole school turns down win10 you should too... (my school did it lol) even our workstation PC's new xeon+quadro's (didnt even know we could afford dem) run win7

I upgraded 2 windows 10...it messed my pc up....wouldent connect to internet...also it looked worse then windows 8....so i stay at 8
