So, my question is simple.

Wired, or wireless, and why?

Just curious different peoples opinions, and why they made the choices they did.

My opinion, would be a wired keyboard, and a wireless mouse.

Reasoning would be, because I want the best keyboard possible, which as far as I can find, means a wired keyboard. However, for mice, the wire gets in my way a lot of the times.

This is my opinion, share yours :D

Better performance is with wired, however convenience is wireless if you don't mind paying for batteries. I have wired keyboard & mouse and I don't regret it.

I have a logitech G700 and a G510. I don't move the keyboard so I would rather have wired and I have a wireless mouse so I don't have a wire slowing me down.

In some cases, latency can be an issue, and that is why a lot of people prefer to go with wired peripherals over wireless. What's the point of buying an expensive mouse with a really expensive sensor but then the all the precision gets lost in the wireless connection?

If you cared about input lag then wired, my wireless mouse is built nice but it is wireless so there is a form of input lag, only subtle but it is there.

I like wired internet and wired peripherals.

Life is pain. Anyone who says any different is either selling something or the government.

My mouse is wireless, my keyboard and Internet (namely my Ethernet) wired. I do however have a Wireless NETGEAR RangeMAX PCI card installed in my PC, but I use the Gigabit Ethernet card since my 2 routers (Virgin Media is on modem mode) and I purchased the NETGEAR R6300 router for Wireless network and Ethernet connections in my room. My PC, Xbox 360 and my TIVO box are connected to my NETGEAR router as Ethernet.

Also, I have my Samsung Galaxy S4 connected to my 5G Wireless network.

Wired everything.  For me the inconvenience of charging/replacing batteries far outweighs the inconvenience of having a wire attached.

I have a cheap Logitech wireless mouse for my laptop though, because trackpads are dumb and the battery lasts like 6 months.

Wired. I don't want the hassle of dealing with batteries and recharging.

Wired for better response, I couldn't stand any of the wireless mice or keyboards I've used; although it's been quite awhile so they might be better these days.

Wired keyboard and mouse because I wouldn't need to replace my batteries. :)
