Hi all, i am thinking getting the Corsair K95 RGB gaming keyboard.

Any one have in mind  anything better?

RGB is still in its early phases. Get something not-RGB. Check out Cooler Master's lineup and make sure to check out the key switch thread in my signature :)

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

yeah cause they're the best for all rounder. If I could swap out my cherry mx red k70 to mx browns then i would in a heartbeat.

Not to everyone... you have to realize that people don't always like what you like, you have to find out what's the best for them.

Not to everyone... you have to realize that people don't always like what you like, you have to find out what's the best for them.

Cherry MX browns are the best compromise. Yes, some people don't like them, but they are the switch that most people just starting out are going to be okay with/like. I'm personally a clear guy, because I like a heavier spring and more pronounced tactile bump. That being said, I'm also a Gateron guy, I don't really like the Cherry switches. (all of this being said when I have two cherry boards in front of me, and I'm typing on the one with red switches...) I'm not really a fan of red switches, but that's what I'm using because I game enough during the summer to make the awful typing experience worth it.

That they are the switch that is most likely to appeal to the widest audience. I didn't say anything at all about them being the best switch for everyone.
