Stress Test internet connection

i want to stress test my 350 meg internet connection but i dont know how

i know there are paid softwares out there but they are paid :P

Is there a free software that will allow me to stress test my network and see what it takes to put it offline?

(i want to do this because my friend has a powerful stresser and i know how strong it is because i have seen it, i want to see how much my internet can handle incase he decides to take me offline)

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

I can help you, TWC has stress test servers that do like 10 Gig a second

Well he has before went to the Sub station here (server shits) and they can send a load to your IP, but I think I am supposed to tell people bout this (kinda new and not really known)
