So I am trying to upgrade from my old Phenom II x4 955 processor and such, but i am stuck on whether i should go to an FX processor or keep saving and wait for Zen.

FX would be easier for me since it is out now, and kinda cheap, but since it is outdated and Zen is around the corner, I'm not sure what to do.

I was also thinking i could complete an fx build and sell it for the prior experience and have maybe a bit more money afterwards. but that could be a bit of a hassle.       (it would be my first build)

Maybe with that i could also sell my current rig for the extra cash for a better one.

Radeon HD 7770 2gb

Do you NEED the upgrade now? If not, and you are certain you want AMD, I'd wait.

I don't NEED the upgrade right now, but i've been starting to get a few performance issues and such.

Why not get an intel build

Sure if i were getting a $200 processor i would go intel, but for me currently its just too damn expensive.

That is, unless AMD brings up their prices.
