Id go with kenwood. I've heard they are much more reliable, plus I hate head-units with those motorized displays.

This is what is in my truck and I like it.

I had a buddy that got mine off craigslist for cheap. Then he never used it and sold it to me for 150usd.

BTW... Nice Farmall tractor. Been a while since I drove a narrow front.

not really sure, it seems that both of these units are really great in their price range, and I really dont know what to choose. I'm leaning a little more towards the Pioneer, but came to get a second opinion.

I'll be 100% honest saying I haven't experienced any of these products first hand, I am just going with my experience with various other Pioneer products, everything I have used and own seems well built and worth the price I paid :)

Good to know, I've heard Pioneer has always been pretty steady and reliable.

I'd go with Pioneer. I love the fact that Pioneer has integrated Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay into most of their double DIN systems.

this is probably the only place i'll hang out anymore: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/274320-the-long-awaited-car-thread/

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

+ Pioneer

I have an older Pioneer single din unit it had dvd with a pop out screen probably 2011 model that was a fairly high tier range. It is the best head unit I have ever had, still works fine even after years of abuse with stupidly low and hard suspension and big subwoofer setups.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'm going to go with the Pioneer unit, and hope that the app link will play nice with my broken Moto X 2013.

Man, i'd love to drive something like that, but the biggest thing I've ever gotten a hold of is something similar to this:

but we had to sell it after we cracked a rod going up a steep hill

Yeah, we dont really do a whole lot of farming around here, I think we have 8 cows or something, so its really just doing a field of hay and selling the extra. So we have no need for big equitment, we primarily use one of these:
