Can i do this?

I have a AMD Radeon HD 6770 and a 5450, can i use the 6770 to power my main monitor and the 5450 to power a second monitor?

You can, yes. There's not much point though, you just be drawing more power and producing more heat for no gains.

Nope, it's illegal.. jk obviously. You can do it, but there isn't much point, just sell one of your cards.

As the first reply states, you absolutely can, but it would not be of any practical advantage. More power consumption and heat to your case.

Heat would be welcome becuse its pretty cold here in sweden.

 

And how do i get it to work, can only get one of them to work.

It should just be a matter of installing them, getting the correct drivers, then plugging the monitors in. You may have to configure the connections in AMD's control panel thing (not too familiar with it, I've only used Nvidia's settings for multiple monitors and cards.)
