Why a $300 mobo insanely overkill. Any reason for an i7 over an i5? Will you be doing anything other then gaming? After all this you could get a much better GPU. Do you plan on insane overclocks? If no then a nice air cooler, would work, also

The link is meant to go here I think https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ArcticWolf/saved/#view=jQdTwP

"Build for noobs" I'm assuming. The URLs match.

Nothing in particular will bottleneck, but you would be better off going for a weaker (i5 4460 for example) CPU for gaming, with stock or cheap air cooler and H97 board and spend more on GPU if it's for gaming. 16GB isn't needed, neither is 750w. Also, add an SSD in there

There shouldn't be any bottleneck but you can definitely cheap out on the mobo and perhaps the even better cooling solutions.

Like if you're not into overclocking/intimidated about first build going for AIO (even though easy) you could go for air-cooling instead. As for the motherboard, even though high end, it doesn't benefit much on overclocking now as it was back in the day. High-end motherboards only matters now if you're going LN2 overclocking.

Latest card from AMD, H440 from Razer is a waste, Just got the regular, MSI Gaming 6 and win 8.1/ External Optical Disk Drive for win install.
Kept the Kraken, Kept the RAM. trust me, This is as good as it gets. (Only thing you could do to make it better is a Fury X or 980Ti

If this is going to be used for gaming get a cheaper Z97 board and an i5-4690K or a cheaper Z170 board and an i5-6600K and get a stronger GPU such as a GTX 970/980 or a radeon R9 390/390X

I'd recommend this power supply instead, otherwise the build seems fine. Also your motherboard already has a pretty good sound chip, you don't really need a sound card ;)

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case
