Hey everyone, I recently just finished my PC build, and everything seems to be going alright, except that now whenever I hit reset in windows, the computer won't turn off. The monitor goes to looking for source, and the CPU light on the motherboard turns red. Here's a video showing the problem:

I have to either hit the reset button on the case or turn the computer off in the back to shut the thing down... any suggestions? Is the CPU faulty? I have already sent in two faulty parts... I'll be quite peeved if I have to send in another... Any help would be appreciated.

Check to make sure your BIOS is fully up to date, if that doesn't help then check the TPU and EPU switches at the top of the board.

I know a year or so ago this was an issue with my motherboard and they released a BIOS update that fixed the problem, I never suffered from it but it was one of the updates for it.

Bios are up to date, tried flashing the latest, nothing happened. I'm not sure what you mean by TPU and EPU switches.

I also tried installing the new chipset, and this didn't help either. If it is any help, I have this same issue when going into the bios, changing something, and clicking "save and reset" the computer for all in tense and purposes turns off, but the power stays on and the CPU led turns red.
