I'm going to be adding fans to my entertainment center because it gets way too hot and my PC and consoles all have performance issues. It is a tight space, and therefore, fans will help bring the temperatures down. There are four areas I want to install fans. The first is behind the PC, so I plan on directly plugging those fans into the computer, no problem there. But the part I'm a bit confused on and want to check is where the consoles are. I will have four fans with three switches (one of the switches will control two fans). I want to power it all with a 12v molex adapter that I already own plugged into a wall socket.  Basically, I want to make sure the electrical current will work the way I want it to.  I'm also a bit worried about how I may need to wire it all, since I'll have to solder wires to the switches, I want to make sure I am doing it all correctly.  The reason I'm not using a fan controller for a PC is due to the aesthetics of the entertainment center.  I haven't found any I like, so I'm building this.
