Are you running the most recent driver from Nvidia not Microsoft if not here. If you are unsure how to uninstall a driver in Windows please say so, so I can layout the steps for you. Another thing, please follow your threads please.

Before you follow any of the following steps please download the Nvidia driver since its installation must be done offline.

To uninstall a device and a driver to install a new driver do the following:

1. Open Device Manager under Display Adapter find your GPU.

2. Right-click and select uninstall.

3. Confirm Device Uninstall popup will appear and before you click OK, tick the check box "Delete the driver software from your system." Then press OK.

4. Back under Display Adapter in the Device Manager wait for the GPU to reappear.

5. This step can be done various ways, easiest way is to just unplug the Ethernet cable from the back of your PC or the back of the modem/router, just make sure you don't have any connection to the Internet. We are avoiding Windows Update from downloading the same driver again.

6.Restart your PC.

7. Head over to the location of the Nvidia driver install file and install.

8. You may now connect back to the Internet.
