my computer crashed and it has the error message that it is collecting info but it is stuck at 55% what do i do

Need more info. Is it a bluescreen? Is it restoring the system, what?

failed overclock so blue screen

Just wait for it to finish.I'm guessing this is a new overclock? Then boot into your BIOS and change the CPU back to stock frequency, make sure it boots up fine and then try and overclock to your normal frequency. Also, remember to quote people to get there attention

well its been at 55% for about 25 minutes now

and it is a new overclock

 

If this was happening to me I would turn of my PC and boot into the BIOS if the progress bar seriously wasn't moving, that's just me though. If you want to do this I don't accept any responsibility for damage/loss of data, which there shouldn't be, I'm just covering my ass. Also PLEASE quote me so I know when you have replied.
