I don't see why it shouldn't be real. There seems to be no other MSI Whitebook page and all links for customer suppor/rma/product registration redirect you to the "official" MSI page.

Hey, I thought it would be a fun project to build a laptop myself. I started looking into it and read that there are msi laptop barebones, as well as clevo barebones. I can't seem to find the MSI ones on their official site, though there is this site, is it real? http://www.msiwhitebook.com/

If you want barebones, go with Clevos, there are much easier to find and their quality is top notch.
