Oil Submersion Case

Go to solution Solved by W-L,

Was Puget the only one that made mineral oil submergion kits? Also what fishtank should I use? Any recommendations?

Puget was the only ones that sold a kit, as for tanks the most convenient is one piece acrylic/plastic tanks since you don't have to ensure seals with glass and aluminum but almost all larger tanks are glass and aluminum.

Hey there,

I've been looking all over the internet for a oil submersion case but wasn't able to find one, I wouldn't like to risk creating my own one with a fish tank so are there any oil submersion cases? If not, what fishtank is the best? Thanks in advance.

Puget that made mineral oil cases are no longer making them due to a patent troll so the only way is to make one yourself from a fish tank using a motherboard tray or designing a holder yourself.

The reason fish tanks are bad is because the rubber degrades...

Use a fish bowl! :D
