Perfect mate just perfect however you might want to grab a 1TB HDD WD Blue if you can.

I already have a 1TB 7200RPM HDD but i just keep forgetting to mention it...

Then everything looks solid.

pretty sure im not gonna use 3.5 gigs at 1080p...

Unless you turn down the settings.

Those 3.5 gigs of vram won't last long..

Its literally 2-6 FPS better. Not enough to change cards. Argument over, you lost deal with it.

The Witcher 3 Ultra preset: 390: 4K 22FPS  (same as 970). 1440p 40FPS (ONE more than 970). 1080p 54FPS (ONE more than 970)

 

Metro Last Light: 390: 4K 27FPS (ONE more than 970). 1440p 57FPS (TWO more than 970). 1080p 95FPS (THREE more than 970).

 

GTA 5 high preset with 2xMSAA: 390 4K 30FPS (ONE more than 970). 1440p 63FPS (FOUR more than 970). 1080p 92FPS (THREE more than 970).

 

Far Cry 4 Ultra preset with 2xMSAA: 390 4K 26FPS (ONE more than 970). 1440p 51FPS (TWO more than 970). 1080p 77FPS (TWO more than 970).

 

Crysis 3 Very high preset 2xMSAA: 390 4K 19FPS (THREE more than 970). 1440p 37FPS (TWO more than 970). 1080p 60FPS (TWO more than 970).

 

Battlefield 4 Ultra preset: 390 4K 37FPS (TWO more than 970). 1440p 76FPS (THREE more than 970) 1080p 110FPS (ONE more than 970)

 

What i'm trying to say here is the numbers are negligible, period.

Yeah and you do realise you're getting 4.5gb's of vram more for the same price? AMD will release better and optimized drivers and then compare ;).

 

+970 will last 1 year max. with those 3.5 gigs before it will stutter. It's stuttering in GTA V and Shadow of Mordor now, god knows what's gonna' happen in a year lol
