Hey there guys, so I have on my hands a 7950 from sapphire (I believe it's a 7970 reference PCB design) that has fans that don't spin. I'm prepared to perform a red mod, but I don't wanna. anyways, I was wondering, as all I need are for the fans to spin, if it's possible to hotwire a PWM (so it just spins at 100% all the time) and just plug it into the PSU.

I'm not really sure what's wrong with it - shorted wire, unplugged wire, IDK. I'll be able to take a much closer look on thursday.

You could probably get a 4-pin to molex connector assuming that the fans are plugged into the card via normal PWM fan headers.
