VM on surface pro and NUC

Did anyone try virtualization on Surface Pro or Intel NUC? The processors in these machines have vt-d enabled (except the Celeron NUC ), there is a 10% discount of surface pro in where i live, and from the blogs i found they seems to work well with exsi or hyper-v. Do you guys think Surface Pro or NUC could be a good virtualization white box?
