GA-970A-UD3 RAID driver problem

I just bought 2 500GB Samsung SSDs and I was planning on putting them in RAID 0. I'm able to create the raid array just fine but when I go to install windows 7 the drive wont show up. When I go to select the RAID driver on the Gigabyte dvd disk located at \BootDrv\SBxxxW7\RAID\W764A the drive still wont show up. I have also formatted both drives on a separate computer to NTFS still nothing. I had a RAID 0 of 4 500GB HDDs on the computer just before switching to the SSDs so all the settings in the bios should be correct. Any ideas on what else I could try?
