Choosing a bluetooth reciever

Hi there!

I am looking to find an awesome bluetooth to 3.5mm audio jack receiver. I really want to find something great, where I won't have to complain about how much bluetooth not working well. I am hoping to not have to spend more than about $70. Any suggestions?

Well it's actually for a kind of crazy project. I'm building a Bluetooth speaker. The battery is 12 AH.

Oh, so you're literally looking for just a Bluetooth module that you can hook up to the battery then?

If you think it might be worth it I'm willing to consider something like that. What do you have in mind?

See the post I just made, I didn't quite understand the OP. Alternatively, you could just wire your big battery to charge the noble via USB, and just use that. Otherwise, the audioengine bluetooth unit does have about a 100 foot range. I'll look and see what I can find for straight modules!

https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11678 this thing, with its breakout board: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12849 look like they might make a good option. I'd definitely look into it more. (they come out to just about $70, so it looks like it might be just what you're looking for.)
