Has anybody else tried the mail app and have had the bug where all the text is gone ? like this

should solve your problems

 

also...who uses local email anymore

get a gmail

If you need remote help fixing something on your computer

Yes, it has happened to me once, but I closed and re-opened it and it works fine now.

Have you done a system clean after you installed. I find that left over install files can cause bugs or lingering issues sometimes.

I use a local email. Yes I have a gmail, which is linked to my mobile phones/tablets and the local email client. The great thing about a local email client is, that you can get your mails from different adresses send to you, and you can always acces them offline!

I would probably use outlook

or thunderbird..I personally like thunderbird

you can link your Gmail or any other Email onto the Mail Client then it syncs to your calendar and you get notifications when you get mail ? why would you not use it. now i dont need to to go to two different sites to get emails.

Thanks will do so later just needed to fix some stuff with my PC first will do it when i have some time and know that the other problem is fixed
