Muddy Audio From Audio Jack

Go to solution Solved by KaminKevCrew,

Bump

Why bump? It's pretty clearly a problem with the hardware, and there isn't much you can do about that.

So when I plug in my iphone into my ear buds or when I plug into my speakers it sounds very loud and muddy audio. (The audio file doesn't jar a problem I'm using spotify and the volume isn't at max it's at very low)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Update drivers, update bios, disable effects, try the rear motherboard audio jack.

on an iphone... (An iphone doesnt have a mobo backplate ;) )

Ah, I see. Well, what's your question? Apple products have good audio hardware.

When I plug in a jack into my headphone jack it puts out inaudible muddy audio. Using spotify to stream audio. Tested on 3 sets of speakers.

It also it's only on the right channel so I also just set my speakers to mono (only right channel there's no left channel)

(It sounds not bad but it's very fucking bad)

Looks like you may have a problem with the physical jack itself.

Is there any corrosion or anything stuck in the headphone port?

No there's nothing stuck inside (checked using a flashlight).

Idk then...

See if you can blow out jack with compressed air.

If not that, then idk, get a modern phone?
