Blown components.

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

i brought my parts to a a PC store like memory express and ncix to get tested

I didnt want to risk damaging my new components with ones that I didnt know were ok

the stores tested them and that way I knew exactly what was safe to use

So I am in a thunderstorm and I just lost my desktop due to it. Should I scrap all the parts connected to the computer or should I try and salvage some of them? I have already salvaged my ssd and tested my power supply and it seems to work. Is there a danger or a suggested procedure for verifying the parts safety?
